Overview

Risk stratification

Based on gestation, birth weight, maternal -perinatal risk factors and clinical course, at risk newborn is stratified to mild, moderate or high risk. This helps alert parents and pediatricians to be alert to delay in growth and development.

Developmental Milestone Tracker

The app includes a user-friendly interface for recording and monitoring a high risk newborn developmental milestones up to two years of age. Pediatricians and parents can input observations during routine check-ups, allowing for a holistic view of a child's progress over time. Automated alerts and notifications remind parents for ensuring timely assessments.

Neurological Assessment Tools

The app uses HINE or Hammersmith Infant Neurological examination, M Chat for behavior and LEST for language screening which helps alerting and tracking of babies development. Observations by parents, age specific, are recorded on adaptation of ASQ test.

This is valuable for pediatricians to identify any potential issues early on. If a child is not meeting certain milestones or if there are concerns about their neurological development, further assessments or interventions may be recommended.

Growth Chart Integration

The app seamlessly integrates with IAP growth charts, enabling pediatricians to visualize and analyze a child's physical growth trends. Growth percentiles and comparisons are easily accessible, aiding in the identification of any deviations from the expected growth trajectory.

Nutritional Support

Monitoring growth helps to identify and address any nutritional challenges. It helps ensuring proper nutrition for the at-risk newborn and customize advice based on clinical assessment.

Immunization schedule

The app schedules vaccinations according to the latest IAP schedule. Alerts of due date or lapse keeps parents engaged in timely vaccination

Secure Patient Profiles

The app maintains secure and HIPAA-compliant patient profiles, consolidating relevant health information in one centralized location. Pediatricians can review and update patient records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for informed decision-making.

Parental Engagement

The app facilitates communication between pediatricians and parents by providing a platform for sharing developmental progress, educational resources, and personalized recommendations. Parents can input at-home observations, fostering a collaborative approach to child development monitoring.

Data Analytics and Reporting

Robust data analytics tools generate insightful reports on a population or individual basis, aiding pediatricians in identifying trends and making evidence-based decisions.

Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) is the custodian agency of the deposited data which will be made available (anonymized data) for research and educational activities by the health care institutes or health care providers upon request. The data of babies whose parents have not consented for data sharing will be protected and not shared.

Reports can be shared with parents to enhance their understanding of their child's growth and development.

Continuing Education Resources

The app plans to offer access to a library of educational resources, keeping pediatricians and parents informed about the latest research, guidelines, and best practices in pediatric growth and development.
